DIY Community Health is looking to take a Holistic approach to support people living with mental illness and substance use. We aim to respond to the poisoned drug and housing crises in Timmins and implement a strategy to improve access to jobs for marginalized people. We also aim to create a strategy to improve community safety and well-being through a human rights and social justice approach.

Warming Centre

To ensure our marginalized community has the best care options available to them, where they are, DIY Community Health will be temporarily operating as a Warming Centre during the coldest months of the year, providing well-needed shelter.

Our Location, in Progress

We are currently going through the renovations necessary for a functional space and looking for help!
We are always looking for volunteers to join us in the various renovation processes and we are accepting donations. See the donations tab for additional information.
